Chapter 7 in Technology in the Classroom is about how to evaluate sources of information correctly, how to assess the students within your classroom, how to integrate technology into the classroom using different strategies, and how to integrate technology into their curriculum. I think this chapter has been very helpful in that it shows many different ways in how to assess your students work when applying technology to the classroom. These strategies help assess whether or not the use of technology is helping or harming the students' learning process. I found this to be the most informative. I have found that a lot of my teachers used the same ways in implementing technology into our classroom. I personally have never really liked this and found it more challenging to do than the actual subject we were learning. Some of the things in the chapter like determining whether or not a website is a good source of information is something I have already learned in high school, primarily because I have to make sure my information is solid when doing papers. Overall I thought the chapter was informative on how to successfully use technology in the classroom.
